Are you interested in learning what mindfulness is and how it can benefit you? Perhaps you are hesitant to commit to a longer program or want to refresh your mindfulness practice. If so, this introductory class may be right for you.
In this series, you will learn how to:
Be more present and aware at both work and home.
Find more ease and happiness in life.
Reduce auto-pilot reactivity in stressful situations.
Enhance connection with others.
Offer yourself kindness and compassion in times of challenge.

Instructor: Brenda Lindsay is a MBSR Teacher trained at Brown University-School of Public Health. Brenda is also a Certified Meditation Instructor with AIHCP, Personal Resilience Practitioner, and holds a graduate certificate in Integrative Holistic Health and Wellness from Western Michigan University. Brenda leads online meditation drop-in sessions and has been practicing mindfulness meditation since 2013. Meditation has been transformative in her life. Brenda served in several executive positions at the Michigan Department of Treasury prior to transitioning to the wellness field.
