Brenda L. Lindsay

Brenda is the founder of Mind Transformations LLC, a consulting and wellness firm committed to helping companies and their employees unlock potential and thrive during an age of disruption by embedding mindfulness, resilience and well-being in their culture. Additionally, we are committed to helping individuals reduce stress, and to live fully with ease and joy.

Trained from Brown University, Brenda is Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher, a certified Meditation Instructor with the American Institute of Health Care Professionals (AIHCP), a certified Professional and Relationship Coach (CPC and CRC), and a certified Personal Resilience Practitioner (PRP). In addition to teaching MBSR and facilitating mindfulness and resilience sessions, Brenda leads drop-in meditation sessions and has been practicing mindfulness meditation since 2013. Meditation has been transformative in her life and teaching mindfulness has been one of the most rewarding experiences in Brenda's career. Brenda received both a Bachelor of Business Administration and Integrative Holistic Health and Wellness graduate certificate from Western Michigan University.

Prior to committing herself to the consulting and health and wellness fields, Brenda obtained CPA and CISM designations while serving in various leadership roles at the Michigan Department of Treasury including the Administrator of the Office of Privacy and Security and the Assistant Deputy Treasurer. As the Office of Privacy and Security Administrator, Brenda transformed the Michigan Department of Treasury's security culture through education and the engagement of over 1,500 employees and contractors. Everyone owned a part of the security solution.
