Introduction to Mindfulness 

4-Week Online Program 


Classes:  Four 75-minute online (via Zoom) sessions on

 Thursdays from Jul 13th to Aug 3rd

7:45 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  Eastern    

Are you interested in learning what mindfulness is and how it can benefit you? Perhaps you are hesitant to commit to a longer program or want to refresh your mindfulness practice.  If so, this introductory class may be right for you.

In this series, you will learn how to:

Fee:  $125.00  Payment can be made near the bottom of this page via PayPal, Venmo, Credit Card, by mailing a check to the address at the bottom of this page, or by using PayPal.me.   Class sizes are limited. 

Refund Policy:  Full refunds are available with a 24-hour notice before the first class. If you withdraw after the first class and before the second class, you are eligible for a 50% refund.  No refunds are available after the second class.

Classes:  Eight sessions on Tuesdays from Oct 10th to Nov 28th

   All-day Session:  Sunday, Nov  19th, 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Eastern 

What changes do you want in your life?  Maybe it is to reduce stress and increase resilience or possibly change habitual reactivity patterns that damage your relationships or perhaps it is to reduce anxiety or depression?  Connect in real-time with others around the country seeking greater balance, ease, and peace of mindThe MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) secular, trauma-sensitive, 8-Week program was created by Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD in 1979 at the UMass Medical Center to optimize one's ability to face stress, pain and illness and make sustainable change across one's lifespan.

Tuition Fees: $175.00, $290.00, or $380.00  Suggested sliding scale, "pay what you can" pricing. Please pay more, if you can, to help support those less able to pay. We strongly believe in making this class available to anyone who believes that it might be helpful in their life and is willing to commit themselves to do the work.  If $175.00 is not affordable, please contact the instructor to discuss payment arrangements or our scholarship program. A 20% fee reduction is offered to MBSR graduates and to those that have completed the Introduction to Mindfulness Series.  Class sizes are limited.

Instructor:  Brenda Lindsay is a MBSR Teacher trained at Brown University.  Brenda is also a Certified Meditation Instructor through AIHCP, Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT-200), Personal Resilience Practitioner, and received an Integrative Holistic Health and Wellness Graduate Certificate from Western Michigan University. Brenda, currently, is a Council Member of the Ann Arbor Center for Mindfulness, leads virtual and in-person meditation drop-in sessions and retreats, and has been practicing mindfulness meditation since 2013.  Meditation has been transformative in her life.  Brenda served in several executive positions at the Michigan Department of Treasury prior to transitioning to the wellness field.  For questions, you may contact Brenda directly at Brenda@mindtransformationsllc.com.
