Classes:  Eight sessions on Wednesdays from Sept 18th to Nov 6th

6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  EST 

   All-day Session:  Sun, Oct 20th, 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. EST

What changes do you want to make to your life?   Perhaps it's to improve relationships? We all know what it’s like to be triggered, to react in a way that we may regret or that wasn’t helpful. Maybe it is to reduce stress and increase resilience or perhaps it is to reduce anxiety or depression?  Connect in real-time with others around the country seeking greater balance, ease, and peace of mindThe MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) secular, trauma-sensitive, 8-week program was created by Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD in 1979 at the UMass Medical Center to optimize one's ability to face stress, pain, and illness and make sustainable change across one's lifespan.

Tuition Fees: $220.00, $325.00, or $430.00  Suggested sliding scale, "pay what you can" pricing. Please pay more, if you can, to help support those less able to pay. We strongly believe in making this class available to anyone who believes that it might be helpful in their life and is willing to commit themselves to do the work.  If $220.00 is not affordable, please contact the instructor to discuss payment arrangements or our scholarship program. A 20% fee reduction is offered to MBSR graduates and to those who have completed the Introduction to Mindfulness Series.  Participants will be invited to attend future All-day sessions free of charge.  Class sizes are limited.

Full refunds are available after the Orientation and before the first session. If you withdraw after the first class and before the second class, you are eligible for a 50% refund.

Instructor:  Brenda Lindsay is a MBSR Teacher trained at Brown University.  Brenda is also a Certified Meditation Instructor through AIHCP, Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT-200), Personal Resilience Practitioner, Certified Professional Coach, and received an Integrative Holistic Health and Wellness Graduate Certificate from Western Michigan University. 

Brenda volunteers as a Board and Council Member of the Ann Arbor Center for Mindfulness, leads virtual and in-person meditation drop-in sessions and retreats, and has been practicing mindfulness meditation for over 10 years.  Meditation has been transformative in her life.  Brenda served in several executive positions at the Michigan Department of Treasury prior to transitioning to the wellness field.
