Be the author of your life by owning your attention! If you want to learn about the vast benefits of mindfulness and are hesitant to commit to a longer program, or maybe you want to refresh your mindfulness practice, then, this introductory series may be right for you.
In this 4-Week series, you will learn how to:
Own your attention by being more present and aware at both work and home.
Find more ease and happiness in life.
Reduce auto-pilot reactivity in stressful situations.
Enhance connection with others.
Offer yourself kindness and compassion in times of challenge.
Develop a foundation for further exploration into mindfulness and the confidence to explore a longer mindfulness series or retreats.
Utilize various mindfulness formal and informal practices in your day-to-day life.

Refund Policy: Full refunds are available with a 24-hour notice before the first class. If you withdraw after the first class and before the second class, you are eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds are available after the second class.
Instructor: Brenda Lindsay, CPC, PRP, C-MI, CYT-200, MBSR teacher trained through Brown University, Instructor and Council Member for the Ann Arbor Center for Mindfulness
Instructor: Brenda Lindsay is a MBSR Teacher trained at Brown University. Brenda is also a Certified Meditation Instructor through AIHCP, Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT-200), Personal Resilience Practitioner, Certified Professional Coach, and received an Integrative Holistic Health and Wellness Graduate Certificate from Western Michigan University.
Brenda volunteers as a Council Member of the Ann Arbor Center for Mindfulness, leads virtual and in-person meditation drop-in sessions and retreats, and has been practicing mindfulness meditation for over 10 years. Meditation has been transformative in her life. Brenda served in several executive positions at the Michigan Department of Treasury prior to transitioning to the wellness field.
