Spring 2023 MBSR Online (via Zoom) Class Schedule

Pre-register for the required, complimentary Orientation on April 11th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern to learn more.

Classes:  Eight sessions on Tuesdays from April 18th to June 6th

6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  Eastern 

   All-day Session:  Sunday, May 21st 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Eastern

Maybe it is to reduce stress and increase resilience or possibly change habitual reactivity patterns that damage your relationships or maybe it is to reduce anxiety or depression?  Connect in real-time with others around the country seeking greater balance, ease, and peace of mindThe MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) secular, trauma-sensitive, 8-Week program was created by Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD in 1979 at the UMass Medical Center to optimize one's ability to face stress, pain and illness and make sustainable change across one's lifespan.

Tuition Fees: $175.00, $290.00, or $380.00  Suggested sliding scale, "pay what you can" pricing. Please pay more, if you can, to help support those less able to pay. We strongly believe in making this class available to anyone who believes that it might be helpful in their life and is willing to commit themselves to do the work.  If $175.00 is not affordable, please contact the instructor to discuss payment arrangements or our scholarship program. A 20% fee reduction is offered to MBSR graduates and to those that have completed the Introduction to Mindfulness Series.

Introduction to Mindfulness Online 4-Week Series

Classes:  Four 75 minute online (via Zoom) sessions

 Tuesdays from  Feb 21st to Mar 14th

7:45 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  Eastern Time 

Fee:  $125.00

What do you want to create this Year?  Join us live online to introduce you to and provide you with an opportunity to experience mindfulness.  You will also learn about the benefits of having a mindfulness practice to decrease stress and participate more fully in your life.  Daily at-home exercises are encouraged to develop mindfulness skills and guided meditation recordings will be made available.

Refund Policy: A 100% refund is available up to the day before Class 1, a 50% refund is available on and after Class 1 and before Class 2,  and no refunds are available after Class 2.

Instructor:  Brenda Lindsay is a MBSR Teacher trained at Brown University-School of Public Health.  Brenda is also a Certified Meditation Instructor with AIHCP, Personal Resilience Practitioner, and holds a graduate certificate in Integrative Holistic Health and Wellness from Western Michigan University. Brenda leads online meditation drop-in sessions and has been practicing mindfulness meditation since 2013.  Meditation has been transformative in her life.  Brenda served in several executive positions at the Michigan Department of Treasury prior to transitioning to the wellness field.  For questions, you may contact Brenda directly at Brenda@mindtransformationsllc.com.
