Resilience in the Workplace/Community

Bounce back quicker from challenges, increase energy while avoiding burnout, stay focused longer, improve confidence and well-being.

We may not be able to control most change around us, but we can control how we respond to it instead of trying to avoid it or react in ways that aren't helpful.  Choosing strategies to minimize unnecessary stress, targeting specific resilience muscles, learning how to better manage energy and improving well-being helps us unlock resilience to face challenges head onWell-being is the foundation of well-doing.

Completing a measurable resilience assessment is key to bouncing back quicker, saving time and effort by providing a guide to develop specific resilience muscles using evidence-based action steps.

Various evidence-based practices support unlocking resilience including mindfulness practices. Mindfulness changes the structure of the brain improving focus, critical thinking and decision-making.  Research indicates that mindfulness also helps develop self-confidence, self-awareness, and relieves stress. Self-awareness is key to empathy and emotional intelligence (EI). Companies such as Proctor and Gamble, Microsoft,  Dow Chemical Company, Aetna, Google, Apple, General Mills, Comcast, professional athletic teams, the U.S. Military, and many others have implemented mindfulness programs and the participants have reported positive change in work capacity, stress management, relationships, reduced absenteeism and health costs.

A study published in the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine found that a group that took a mindfulness program created for a specific workplace, Dow Chemical Company, was less stressed, more resilient, and more energetic than the group that couldn't yet take the course.

Equip your leaders, teams, and change agents to better navigate disruption and manage energy by developing measurable and sustainable resilience for a better return on investment, improved well-being and relationships, and more satisfying choices, actions, and change outcomes.
